Policies for Waterfront Heritage Cycling Vacation Tour

Please read carefully the policies for our waterfront heritage cycling vacation tour.

Tour start dates: The 2nd Monday of each month from May Through October                                                                          

ONLINE Booking Deadline:  2 months prior to the to the start date of the tour.

EXAMPLE:

A. If the 2nd Monday of May falls on May 15, the Tour goes out May 15 between 8am-10am Monday morning.

B. If the Tour Start date is on  Monday May 15, the Booking (Payment) deadline is March 15th.

Tour bookings less than 60 days from date of departure may be available if tour is not sold out. 

Sorry, No refunds within 60 days of the Tour start date, as our packaged service providers require deposits that are non refundable.

Early Bird Special: $100 off bookings paid 4 months or greater prior to Tour Start date (May)

Tour Guide

Support  Bicycle repair services (all repairs are extra cost)

Luggage transport to accommodations every day

Accommodations for each night purchased

Lunch and dinner, note typically Breakfast is provided with each accommodator

Admissions fees to historical sites and attractions 

Tour participants must be at least 14 years of age.  A parent or guardian must sign for participants under the age of 18 years.  All participants must be fit enough to ride 70 kilometers per day (45miles/day). Payment is required at time of booking.

All Tours are subject to cancelation, In which the participant may choose to reschedule to a current years tour start or receive a minimum of a 60% refund.

Born to Ride Bicycle uses PayPal for secure credit card payments.  You do not need to have a PayPal account to make payment.

Upon receipt of your payment, we’ll send you a “Before You Go” booklet to help you prepare yourself and your equipment for the tour (if not renting your bicycle from Born to Ride Bicycle).  Sixty days before your tour date, upon full payment received, Born to Ride Bicycle will email your itinerary, accommodations confirmation details and available meals menu choices.

CANCELLATIONS

In order to maintain reasonable trip prices, we cannot make exceptions to our cancellation policy.  Should you need to cancel your trip for any reason, you must notify Born to Ride Bicycle in writing immediately.

• Cancellation 60 days or greater prior to tour start:  60% Refunded
• Cancellation 60 days or less before tour start:  No Refund
  

There is no refund for late comers that miss the tour start. Its your responsibility to meet up with the group, or contact us to meet up for the next days start times.

Should you show up late or choose to leave a tour at any time after the tour start , regardless of the reason, you will not receive a refund.

 Born to Ride Bicycle reserves the right to cancel or combine tours. If this results in a revised departure date unacceptable to you, you will receive a minimum 60% refund. 

TRAVEL INSURANCE
In an effort to plan for unexpected personal emergencies, health issues, weather, and transportation problems that might cause you to cancel or shorten your trip, travel insurance is strongly advised.
