QUALIFY

If you Qualify, Born To Ride Bicycle will equip your location with Bicycle rentals, and a cleaning & maintenance program in place. including helmets & locks, at the time each rental goes out.

ADD ONS

Born To Ride Bicycle will equip your customers with additional add ons, ie. Rear racks to strap on saddle bags, handle bar pocket bags, spare tubes, kits, customizing each bicycle to youre customers needs.  We take the time to make a good fit between each cyclist and there bicycle. We draw from over 15 years of experience as trainers and bicycle mechanics.

FLEET OF BICYCLES

While you be stocked with a limited number of bicycles on location, your customers will also benefit access to our mobile inventory of up to 100 assorted (standard and unique) bicycles, at our storage facilities withoin Ontario, Canada.

HOW DOES MY ORGANIZATION QUALIFY

1. You will be expected to purchase and maintain an inventory of bicycles that Born To Ride Bicycle will SELECT, ORDER, and build, with locks and helmets, on your property an in shop set up will include: basic Bicycle mechanics tools and or equipment used strictly within work area. This will be a part of your purchases. You will provide a well maintained a secure, clean dry, facility that , protected and sanitized, with proper reliable well lit lighting sytem (6-8000+lumens) for detailed work  by a bicycle mechanic, as each bicycles is cleaned, serviced before, during, after use.
2.  The number and type of bicycles on your premises, will be calculated based on a percentage of your average occupancy, 
3. An assessment of your location for suitable styles of bicycles will be completed.

YOUR RENTAL STORAGE FACILITY REQUIREMENTS

1. WORKING STORAGE AREA: You will provide a secured , not accessible to the public, dry climate controlled area (adjustable mechanical thermostat), having one access door to the outside, and one access door leading into your facility for front desk staff, customer service, washroom access..etc. a security camera is recommended.
2.  OUTSIDE SERVICE DOOR ACCESS:  from the parking lot, a service vehicle is  able to pull up without obstructions, for parking to load/unload supplies, parts and equipment into rental storage area, without entering through your front lobby.
3. STORAGE: 10 sqft /per bicycle,  enclosed clean secured metal shelving unit for helmets & accessories, this shelving unit must have the capacity to store 2-3 helmets times the number of bicycles )
4. AFTER USE CLEANING AREA: Minimum 100 sqft with drainage for spray/washing down and sanitization after use of equipment. Thus means the walls and floor surface will be exposed to regular sprays, wash downs of equipment.
5. MAINTENANCE: A Minimum of 50 sqft work area, a (2' x 9ft ),  countertop surface for mechanics tools, and a dedicated secured mechanics metal cabinet to lock up tools.
6. HYGIENE: Laundry tub with surrouunding counter surface, to maintain hygiene and cleaning parts for reassembly
7. SPRAY WATER HOSE: 15-20ft water hose connected to dedicated standard indoor & outdoor water faucet, hose with adjustable spray nozzle.
8. POWER OULETS: 120VAC 15-20 amp commercial grade GFCI outlets, w/metal cover plates, at each work area, and/or any at water source (CSA CODE).

my organization will be expected to purchase and maintain an inventory of bicycles, locks, helmets and Bicycle mechanics tools provided by Born To Ride Bicycle, this equipment will be used strictly within work area. If Born To Ride Bicycles, standards are not met, I may be released from the certification program, loosing all privileges, rights to participate, loss of inventory, at which time removal of all related equipment including bicycles , tools, accessories, miscellaneous items, associated with the Bicycle Rental facility and certification program will commence. The owner and or any staff member(s) will provide full cooperation in the removal process. I agree to not restrict access to the facilities or property during this time. If full cooperation is not provided, the property owner and staff agree to compensate Born To Ride Bicycle on all costs incurred an reclaiming or purchasing the same quality of the equipment and any related costs, not limited
All Participants*
in this program, must provide verbal and written notice, 60 days, prior to cancelling participation, and allow up to 90 days from time of receiving both verbally and in writing notice, from which time Born To Ride Bicycle is required to remove all related equipment including bicycles, tools, accessories, miscellaneous items, associated and/or within the Bicycle Rental facility and the participants property. The owner and or any staff member(s) will provide full cooperation in the removal process, providing full access.
If*
any equipment drawn from Born To Ride Bicycle's offsite inventory (storage facilities), that is lost, stolen or damaged due the neglect of staff or management within your organization, I agree to providing full compensate of a minimum of 50% of replacement costs. If any related bicycle rental equipment purchased by your organization, is lost, stolen or damaged, you will be responsible to cover full replacement costs within 3 days of incident, as charged under the terms and conditions of Born To Ride Bicycle.
Assumed ownership and responsibility*
Due to the high labour cost of maintaining any bicycle fleet, and the rising costs and availability of parts, Born To Ride Bicycle assumes full ownership of all bicycles and the responsibility of maintaining safe, and quality standards of each bicycle entered into this program.
